This exhibition coincides with the bicentenary of the abolition of slave trade in Britain. It shows the impact of radical thinking and campaigning, concentrating on a circle of kindred spirits around the publisher Joseph Johnson, William Blake, Wiliam Wilberforce and others. Influental art pieces are displayed as well as original books and prints. Also, key two page excerpts of crucial publications are presented individually in book format along a timeline which puts events in a historical context.
